  • 1/2 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon chopped basil
  • salt and pepper
  • Tabasco, to taste
  • 2-3 slices of old brioche
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco Original Red Sauce
  • 3 small eggplants, cut crosswise into 1/4 inch slices
  • oil for frying
