Fire Pit for Fall

Fire-Bit-ForFallFall is the perfect time of the year to enjoy your outdoor spaces. The weather is neither too cold nor too hot. The air is cool & crisp and you can venture outside to star gaze, tell stories and create everlasting memories with family and friends.

Take inspiration from a rustic campfire and create a refined version of that in your backyard. Store-bought fire pits can have a greater presence by making a sub-base with stone pavers. In this patio, it was a decorative element, but also necessary for safety on a wood deck. I used pavers in different sizes to create a border and then filled the gaps in between the center pavers with small gravel. Love the combination of textures and colors.

For added comfort and style, I placed wicker Adirondack chairs around the fire pit. The chairs are actually weatherproof because the wicker is plastic. By spending just a little more on these chairs, you create a stylish setting that complements the interior look of your home. Add a pop of color with outdoor cushions and an accent table, which is great to place down a drink or put a candleholder.

Now sit back and enjoy the ambiance as you cozy up to the fire and make that's more treats this fall season!
