CREATE YOUR OWN SANCTUARY!

Your home is more than just shelter. It should be a place that supports your well-being: where you can unwind and relax; and also recharge before heading out into the world. Think about nourishing your mind, body and soul.

Here are a few simple tips to help you create your very own sanctuary.

  • Try to find a quiet corner of your home, preferably with natural sunlight or a view of the outdoors
  • Fill it with things that make you happy and appeal to all your senses
  • Add a small bookcase to organize your wellness equipment such as yoga mats, blocks, straps and dumbbells
  • Use the top of the bookcase as console table to display candles, incense and images that inspire you
  • Include plants that will freshen the air and brighten your mood
  • Consider calming sounds and enliven your space with a tabletop water fountain or relaxing music from a small speaker
  • Your decorative choices can be inspired by places that make you feel at peace such as nature, beach or faraway travels
