WHAT GIVES YOU HOPE?

Jaclyn C.

I hope that one day we can live in a world full of love and peace, without assault and violence in homes and relationships we should feel safe in. I hope our generation can put an end to sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse.

That one day everyone can live in peace

No matter who you are, no matter what has happened in the past, you are never alone. There is always someone who will be there for you to stand by your side, hold you hand, and help you when you feel like falling. It is not about how many times you fall, but how many times you get back up. In the words of Eleanor Roosevelt, ""You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' You must do the thing you think you cannot do."

Nikki S.

I hope that one day Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Child Abuse is taken more seriously by some pf society. By educating ourselves on the topic, it will not only inform us but allow us to be more sympathetic towards those suffering rather than show blame or make excuses for the guilty. These horrid issues may never end, but we can stop it if it's happening right in front of our faces, and we should.

Virginia H.

I hope that children will no longer have to experience cancer.

Marlie R.

I hope that we can all learn to live together in a more respectful and peaceful atmosphere.

I hope that we find a way to travel the stars. I hope that we find a way to see without "color". I hope that we find a way so as not a single person alive goes to sleep hungry. I hope that one day, we live in a world (or galaxy/universe) in which education is a given right. I hope, more than anything, my two year old will live in a world fear of hate.

Jean D.

That people are kind to one another and lend a helping hand without expecting something in return.

Lydia B.

I hope that through my daily life I am able to positively impact the lives of those around me by loving and accepting each person just as Christ did.

Knightengale R.

I hope that we can end the backlog of rape-kits, and make it a top priority to process them as soon as they are collected. No one should have to wait over 23+ years to have theirs processed.
