When a fire destroys an SUV dealership and kills a young salesman, Don and his team are called in as there is evidence the fire could be linked to a group of radical environmentalists. With the help of Cal Sci's Professor Waldie, Charlie is able to "fireprint" the fire which helps the FBI determine who is responsible.

When Don and his team are called to the murder scene of a Los Angeles gang member, they learn that it is a fellow agent who had been working undercover. Without exposing the agent's cover, Don must investigate his murder by a rival gang and try to crack the gangs' leadership and territories to find the suspect. But the agents are surprised when they learn who is responsible for the source of the rivalry. Will Patton ("The Agency") guest stars as LAPD Lieutenant Gary Walker, who is in charge of LAPD's Gang Impact Team.

When the FBI is called to investigate a murder at a Los Angeles card club, it leads Don and his agents to unravel a complicated card counting scheme involving a group of college students whose lives may now be at risk. Professional poker player Annie Duke guest stars as a blackjack dealer in the Los Angeles card club.
An anonymous tip leads Don and David to the basement of a hotel in Los Angeles' garment district where they uncover a bloody scene and a traumatized young girl from India. Sensing the girl's connection with Amita, Megan recruits her to help get information out of the girl who is too terrified to speak. When the agents learn that she was selling one of her kidneys on the black market and witnessed one girl's death, the agents must act quickly to find her missing sister and a fourth girl involved in the trafficking ring before it is too late.

When a highly valuable piece of equipment is stolen from the Cal Sci science lab, the suspect is the school's track star, and "the next Charlie Eppes," who works closely with Charlie and Larry. Although, quickly defended by them, further investigation by Don and his team reveals that the student is not who he says he is and may be involved in an elaborate scheme involving stealing equipment Larry has been using for research containing data worth millions.
Don and his team investigate a deadly anti-war bombing which bears the stamp of a 1970's anti-war activist who went missing 30 years ago after being accused of planting a bomb that killed two people. Retired Agent Thomas Larson, who tried to solve the case 30 years ago, turns up to help but questions Don's loyalty to the case when it is revealed that Don's father, Alan, knew the radical activist and participated in demonstrations with him, causing tension between father and son. Robert Forster ("Jackie Brown") portrays retired Agent Thomas Larson who was on the anti-war bombing case 30 years ago.

Don and his agents are called when a search team finds three dead women in the wilderness amid questionable circumstances. The case becomes more suspicious when Don is told the team was led to the crime scene by a psychic. When the psychic offers to help the FBI solve the crime, Charlie is determined to prove that Kraft's so-called psychic abilities are no match to Charlie's mathematical findings. Multiple Emmy Award nominee John Glover ("Smallville") portrays Samuel Kraft, a psychic who leads a search team to a crime scene in the wilderness.

The BAU team travels to San Francisco to investigate the murders of several homeless men and teams up with a separate group of BAU operatives who are working another case they think is connected. Academy Award, Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker ("Last King of Scotland") guest stars as “Special Agent Sam Cooper,” and Academy Award and Golden Globe Awardwinning actress Mary Steenburgen ("The Proposal") guest stars as “Director Beth Griffith.”

In this episode a young man Michael has been wrongly convicted of killing a girl. He has spent the last ten years in prison - and only wants to clear his name. He ends up holding a courthouse hostage - and inside the courtroom is Ed. It turns out the prosecuting attorney originally hid crucial evidence. Michael poignantly confesses to Ed that he’s never kissed a girl.

Two young girls are being held hostage in a nondescript but booby-trapped house in a surbuban neighborhood. One of the girls is 16 years old, and has been held captive there for 8 years. After the man brings home the younger girl Penny to add to his collection, he is spotted in a gas station with the missing girl. SRU is called in, and Jules’s negotiation skills are put to the test to save the day. But Penny becomes affected with Stockholm syndrome, believes her captor, and opens fire on Jules, Sam & Spike. Jules admits she is uncomfortable with situations where there are no right or wrong answers.
