The team discovers that the serial killer is a wealthy man on a mission to rid his city of “the low life elements.” With the help of his manservant, they abduct their victims and torture them by having them travel through a chamber of horrors before killing them.

Frank is back and Gideon is his target. Fearing that Frank will kill her, Jane (his love) leaves him and goes in search of Gideon for protection. Unable to find her, Frank goes to Gideon’s apartment; kills a friend of Gideon’s and leaves the message that he will continue to kill the people Gideon has saved until Jane is delivered to him. As Hotch and the rest of the team search for Jane, Gideon and Garcia work together to profile Frank’s history in order to stop him. During the course of this investigation, Hotch continually bends the rules which ultimately puts his position as the BAU team leader in jeopardy. Keith Carradine guest stars as Frank and Amy Madigan guest stars as Jane.

He is raced to the hospital just as his estranged wife is in labor and having problems delivering their new baby there too. He is able to sit with Sophie as she is rushed into an emergency C section. The team is hunting for the gunman that shot Ed. They trace him to a drug kingpin who has used him as a way to ship opium in from Afghanistan. His wife finally gives the Team his whereabouts, and he is taken down. Baby Girl Lane is delivered safely, with Ed and son Clark present.

When a cop who mistakenly shot and killed a young black student, is declared innocent, a deeply divided Team One must confront a rioting crowd, a trained bloc of anarchists, and a father whose dreams died the night he lost his son. The angry father lures the cop to the scene of his son’s murder, and at gunpoint, the cop reveals what really happened the night of the boy’s death. Jules goes under cover, and is arrested in the riot.
