When a father driving with his two children is gunned down on the freeway, Megan is puzzled when she can't find a specific pattern to the suspect's behavior and goes to Charlie for some insight. But as additional freeway incidents occur, Don uncovers an unlikely clue that may lead them to the killer.
As Charlie digs deeper into the victim's life and discovers an elaborate gambling scheme, he realizes he has only uncovered part of the crime. Soon, he discovers a connection to a third party sending the case in a whole other direction. Aya Sumika ("The O.C.") begins her recurring role as agent Liz Warner, Don's former trainee.
309: Waste Not
As the FBI tries to prove that a corrupt construction company is to blame because they have been burying containers of toxic waste under school playgrounds, they discover that the students in the school have a higher rate of cancer and neurological problems. Charlie tries to mathematically prove cause and effect between the pavement materials and the cancer clusters. Meanwhile, Millie, Charlie's new boss at Cal Sci, orders him to spend less time helping out the FBI and more time in their department.
Though the program was discontinued, Don and the FBI learn that someone is still able to make the conditioning work on former subjects and is using them to commit murder. Meanwhile, Larry announces he is taking a leave of absence from the university to travel on the next space station crew rotation.

The BAU searches inside a gated New Mexico community for a killer targeting women, and “Hotchner” looks to an FBI cadet with a unique past for help with the investigation. Rachel Nichols ("Star Trek," "Alias") guest stars as “Agent Ashley Seaver,” an FBI cadet with a troubled past who assists with the case.
611: 25 To Life
“Morgan” suggests that a man has been rehabilitated and aids in his parole, but later regrets his decision when the man murders someone days after being released. Rachel Nichols ("Star Trek," "Alias") returns as “Agent Ashley Seaver.” Guest stars include Kyle Secor ("Homicide: Life on the Street") as recently paroled “Don Sanderson” and Philip Casnoff ("Sinatra," "Strong Medicine") as “Congressman James Stanworth.”
613: The Thirteenth Step
The BAU hits the road to track down a pair of young lovers on an interstate murder spree. Also, “Prentiss” hears frightening news from her former boss at Interpol. Guest Stars include Adrienne Palicki ("Friday Night Lights," "Lone Star") and Jonathan Tucker ("The Black Donnellys") as “Sydney” and “Ray,” the young lovers on the run; and Angus Macfayden ("Braveheart") as “Sean McAllister,” Prentiss' former colleague.
614: Sense Memory
The BAU travels to Los Angeles to investigate unusual murders throughout the city. Also, more of “Prentiss'” mysterious past comes to light. Guest stars include Brad William Henke ("Lost," "Dexter") as taxi driver “Steve;’ Matthew Glave ("ER," "Army Wives") as “Detective Bailey,” who assists the investigation; Stacey Oristano ("Friday Night Lights") as missing woman “Anisa Gold;” and Timothy V. Murphy ("24") as “Ian Doyle,” a person from Prentiss' past.
615: Today I Do
The BAU is called to upstate New York to investigate mysterious disappearances. Also, “Prentiss” gets some disturbing news about one of her former Interpol colleagues. Guest stars include Rachel Miner as a missing person,“Molly;” Corbin Bernsen as Molly's father, “Jerry;” and Joshua Leonard as Molly's boyfriend, “Lyle.”
“Reid” makes a connection with an autistic child that could assist the BAU in finding the boy's missing parents. Also, “Prentiss” enlists two former Interpol colleagues in hunting an old nemesis. As the team mourns Lou, and we meet Leah Kearns, a dangerous stalker kidnaps a woman, whom he believes to be his own daughter. Nevertheless, he threatens to kill her if she does not go along with his plans. The stalker also kidnaps and injures her fiancé. Our team investigates the news station where the young woman works.
303: The Farm
In this episode SRU is brought in to diffuse the possible mass killing at a hidden cult. The action kicks off when a woman holds up a convenience store. She is clearly desperate, and they trace her identity to a young woman that went missing fifteen years prior. It turns out she was taken in by this charismatic young cult leader, and now has a son with him. She is desperate to get her son out because she knows her cancer-doomed husband is planning to take everyone out by the end of the day. The team works furiously against the clock to figure a way into the compound without compromising themselves.
