Joe Mantegna stars as David Rossi in "Criminal Minds."
Mantegna is best know for some of his roles in box office hits, including "Three Amigos," "The Godfather III," "Forget Paris" and "Up Close & Personal." He as also served as the voice for "The Simpsons" character Mob boss Fat Tony since his first role as the recurring character in 1991.
He has appeared in several television miniseries, including "The Starter Wife" and "The Rat Pack," both of which he earned Emmy nominations for. Some of his other TV credits include "First Monday" and "Joan of Arcadia."
Mantegna is also a Tony Award-winning actor, who has starred in several Broadway performances including "Glengarry Glen Ross" and "Speed-the-Plow," as well as a role in the musical "Working."
Thomas Gibson stars as Aaron Hotchner in "Criminal Minds."
Gibson is best known for his five-season run in the sitcom "Dharma & Greg." He has several other television credits to his name, including a starring role in "Chicago Hope," and roles in "Raising Waylon," "The Inheritance," Brush with Fate" and "Tales of the City."
Gibson's film credits also include a lead role in the epic "Far and Away," as well as other roles in "Eyes Wide Shut," "The Age of Innocence" and "Barcelona."
Shemar Moore stars as Derek Morgan in "Criminal Minds."
Moore is best known for his portrayal of Malcolm Winters in "The Young and the Restless," which he won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, along with several nominations.
Moore's other TV credits include "Scott Turow's Reversible Errors," "Birds of Prey" and "How to Marry a Billionaire." He has also appeared in a number of feature films, including "Butter," "Motives," "The Brothers" and "The Seat Filler."
Paget Brewster stars as Emily Prentiss in "Criminal Minds."
Brewster first gained attention for a recurring role on the popular sitcom "Friends." Along with other guest starring roles on shows such as "Two and a Half Men," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and "Stacked," some of her other television credits include "A Perfect Day," "Andy Richter Controls the Universe," "The Trouble with Normal" and "Love & Money." She also provides voiceover work for the animated series "American Dad" and "Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law."
She has also appeared in a number of films, including "Unaccompanied Minors," "Hospital," "My Big Fat Independent Movie," "Man of the House" and "The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle."
A.J. Cook stars as Jennifer Jareau in "Criminal Minds."
Cook launched her film career in 1999's "The Virgin Suicides." She has since had several theatrical roles, including lead characters in "Out Cold" and "Final Destination 2."
Some of Cook's other television credits include "The 'L' Word," "Dead Like Me" and "Tru Calling."
MATTHEW GRAY GUBLER
DR. SPENCER REID
Matthew Gray Gubler is best known for his role as Dr. Spencer Reid in "Criminal Minds."
Gubler's film credits include "R.V." and "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou," as well as 2007's "Alvin and the Chipmunks," where he provided the voice for Simon.
Gubler is also an accomplished filmmaker, with a list of short films titles including "The Cactus That Looked Just Like a Man," "Claude: A Symphony of Horror" and "Tippi's Picnic."
Kirsten Vangsness stars as Penelope Garcia in "Criminal Minds."
Apart from her role on "Criminal Minds," Vangsness is well known for her work on stage. She has received critical acclaim through the theater community, including the 15 Minutes of Fem Best Actress Award, the Los Angeles Drama Critics Award for Best Emerging Comic Actress and the Golden Betty Award. Her credits include several West Coast premieres of original plays including "A Mulholland Christmas Carol," "Book of Liz," "Fan Maroo," "Perfuct" and "Steaming City."
